What Therapeutic model do you use (cognitive Behavioral, Gestalt, etc)?
I am an eclectic therapist. I do not use a cookie cutter approach to therapy. I believe that different clients need different things. I work together with each client to determine what that client needs. I tap into different theoretic models as needed.
Do you think that people change?
Yes, I see people change and grow all the time. Change occurs when we become aware of what is not working, when we identify barriers and are willing to learn new skills or new ways of being.

Are you a faith based therapist?
No, I am not a faith based therapist. However, if a client happens to be spiritual or wants to work on spirituality in therapy, I am able to incorporate that into the work that we do together.
How long is therapy needed?
It depends on the clients’ needs and goals. Some individuals enter therapy for short term, solution oriented therapy. Other individuals may want to work on trauma or childhood issues, which often requires a longer time period.
How often do you meet with people?
Therapy works best when meeting with people on a weekly basis. However, people may choose instead to come twice a month.
What if it does not feel like a good match?
If you or I believe that someone else could better serve your needs, I will do my best to give you a referral to another therapist that may better serve you.
